How to Play Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness
Quick start
Begin a new file with Cornell and learn the Type A controls. Examine objects and doors with C-right, practise holding ledges with A, and save the werewolf transformation for encounters where its extra power is useful.

Type A: stick moves; A jumps and grips ledges; B main distance attack; C-left close attack; C-right interact; C-down attack item; Z crouch; L Cornell’s werewolf transformation; R moves camera behind you; START items.
Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness — About this game
Cornell searches for his abducted sister Ada in a journey through Dracula’s territory. His human attacks and Jewel-powered werewolf form offer different ways to handle monsters, but transformation consumes a resource that must be managed. Exploration includes doors, switches, hanging from ledges and dangerous platforms. The adventure expands beyond Cornell through additional character scenarios unlocked by progress.
