How to Play ClayFighter: The Sculptor's Cut
Quick start
At character selection, pick a fighter with A. Begin with B for a light punch and A for a light kick, then compare C-button medium and heavy attacks. Practice holding away from the opponent to guard. Only try a parry once you can judge impact timing; forward and backward directions reverse when the fighters change sides.
Controls
D-pad moves; up jumps and down crouches. Hold away for high block, down-away for low block. Punches: B light, C-left medium, C-up heavy. Kicks: A light, C-down medium, C-right heavy. Tap toward just before impact to parry, or tap down for a low parry. Character-specific throws and specials use their own inputs; super moves need meter level one or more.
ClayFighter: The Sculptor's Cut — About this game
ClayFighter: The Sculptor's Cut brings its clay fighters to Claymodo, where Dr. Kiln is building an army. The fighting system gives every character three punch strengths and three kicks: light attacks arrive quickly, while stronger ones need better timing. Hold away to block high or down-away to cover low, but special moves can still chip away life through a guard. A well-timed tap toward the opponent, or down against a low attack, parries instead. Close-range throws and unique specials vary by fighter; super moves require at least one level of the super meter. Learning distance and timing matters as much as memorizing motions.
