How to Play Cruis'n USA
Quick start
Start with a Single Race on an Easy course and choose automatic Cruise-O-Matic gears. Select a car and confirm with START. Learn the default Z throttle before beginning the full Cruise the USA route.
Controls
Default: stick steers, Z accelerates, L or R brakes. A changes driving view, B changes music, C-right changes displays. With manual gears, C-up/down shifts up/down. START confirms menu choices and pauses during the race. Controller Setup changes the layout.
Cruis'n USA — About this game
Cruis'n USA connects its road races into a trip from San Francisco toward Washington, D.C. Winning a stage moves the tour onward, with the same chosen car carrying you through the journey. Cars favour different balances of acceleration, speed and cornering, so the fastest straight-line choice is not always the easiest to handle. Single races offer practice, and options let you adjust traffic and rivals while learning unfamiliar roads.
