Destruction Derby 64 — About this game
Destruction Derby 64 makes the car itself your main tool of attack. Arena events reward damaging opponents and finishing off weakened vehicles, while destruction races add checkpoints to the struggle. Collisions earn points and enough collision points add time, but a battered car cannot keep attacking forever. Watching the damage meter helps you decide when to seek another hit and when to aim for a checkpoint instead. World Championship links events through an overall standings table, Arcade provides a single exhibition and Time Trials concentrates on speed. Local multiplayer includes arena Deathmatch and Bomb Tag, where carrying the bomb earns points but keeping it until detonation is a costly mistake.
