Quick start
Original-game starting guide: Choose Exhibition, then the player count, match type and wrestlers. Begin with a regular bout and test B punches, A kicks and C-left tie-ups. Press START for the situation-specific Move List, and watch the damage meter before trying a pin.
Controls
Original-game controls for reference: Default: stick/D-pad moves; B punches, A kicks; C left ties up/pins/tags by context; C right runs; C up climbs; C down blocks/reverses; R dodges/breaks pins or holds; L or Z changes focus/picks up or drops weapons. START pauses for Move List; A confirms menus, B returns, Z opens menu help.

Original-game reference: Hardcore Revolution combines wrestling strikes with position-dependent tie-ups and holds. The damage meter changes from green towards red as a wrestler becomes vulnerable, while the blue tie-up indicator shows an advantage earned through successful hits. Climbing, running and handling weapons expand the action beyond standing exchanges. Exhibition lets you select match conditions, Career follows a season, and a wrestler editor supplies custom entrants. The pause menu’s move list follows the current situation, making it useful for learning what a chosen wrestler can do near a standing or fallen opponent.
