How to Play Famista 64
Quick start
From the main menu use the stick and A to select 一戦勝負, then 1P VS COM. Pick teams, choose who bats first and whether to use the DH, then select the stadium, starting pitcher and lineup. Confirm with A. Position the batter before the pitching motion, swing with A and use Z for a bunt. Start with a single game before exploring 君の最強チーム.
Controls
Stick moves the batter before the windup; A swings and held Z bunts. Pitching: A starts with stick up/down choosing type and speed; left/right as the ball leaves the hand aims the pitch, and left/right afterward adds curve. Fielding: stick moves, A attempts a catch without the ball or throws toward the chosen base when holding it. Running: stick+B advances, stick+A returns, R advances all. START pauses; menu A confirms/B returns.
Famista 64 — About this game
Famista 64 gives batting and pitching a close view before switching out to the field as the ball comes into play. Set your batter's position before the pitcher moves, then use stick direction and swing timing to vary the hit. Pitching uses the stick for speed, location and later curve. The 君の最強チーム campaign sends you around Japan to recruit players through minigames and matches against local representative teams, preparing to face the Metal aliens. Players grow or decline as years pass, so the squad needs attention. Single matches, leagues, a pennant, All-Star games and up-to-four-player cooperation offer other ways to use baseball skills.
