FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 — About this game
FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 turns an international campaign into a sequence of matches from qualification to the final tournament. Friendly offers a shorter match without changing competition standings, while League plays each opponent twice. Training separates attacking and defensive exercises so you can learn before risking a result. Team management lets you adjust the lineup, formation, tactics and positions to suit your approach. On the pitch, passes, lofted balls and sprinting create different routes forward. The same buttons change jobs without possession, making player switching and the choice between a standing challenge and a slide important parts of defending.
