How to Play FIFA Soccer 64
Quick start
Choose Friendly on Match Select, pick the two teams and press A or START. On Controller Select move your icon under your team, set Simple controls and Novice assistance for a first match, then confirm with A or START. Follow the pre-game menu to kick off; start with A passes and B shots.
Controls
Stick or D-pad moves. In Simple, A passes and B shoots/clears; holding a kick adds power. C-down lobs and tapping C-left sprints. Defensively A selects the player closest between ball and goal; tap B to tackle or hold B to slide. Complex instead uses C-down for the slide. START pauses; A/START advances menus.
FIFA Soccer 64 — About this game
FIFA Soccer 64 lets you organize a single friendly or follow teams through a league, tournament and playoff bracket. League teams meet home and away; tournament groups instead lead toward elimination rounds. The match settings change more than presentation: wet turf slows the ball, dry ground makes it roll faster, and Arcade removes fatigue and equalizes ability while Simulation respects ratings and limits substitutions. Simple controls cover the basics, with Complex adding advanced actions. Pass toward a teammate, hold kicks for more power and choose when to challenge rather than chase every ball.
