How to Play Fighters Destiny
Quick start
Use Training’s Normal exercise to learn basic attacks and read the commands shown on screen. Then choose VS COM for computer opponents or VS Battle for two local players, and confirm a fighter with A or START. Keep the default seven-point target in mind and learn how a throw or ring-out changes the score.
Controls
Default: D-pad or stick moves; A makes low attacks, B upper/middle attacks; A+B near the opponent throws. R with direction guards. L automatically avoids upper/lower attacks, but not middle attacks. START pauses; A or START confirms menus and B cancels.
Fighters Destiny — About this game
Fighters Destiny builds each match around scoring rather than simply counting identical round wins. Under the default rules, the first fighter to reach seven points wins: a ring-out or judges’ decision earns one, a throw earns two, a knockdown or counter earns three, and a special finish earns four. This makes spacing near the edge and the choice of finishing move part of your strategy. High, middle and low attacks demand different defensive responses, while throws add another close-range threat. Training displays commands as you perform moves; VS COM, local VS Battle and Master Challenge offer different ways to practise and gain skills.
