How to Play Glover

Quick start

Original-game starting guide: Press START, then select Practice with the stick and A to learn how to handle the ball. For the adventure, choose Start, then New Game, enter three initials and pick Easy or Normal. Practise carrying and throwing before guiding the ball through the first world.

Controls

Original-game controls for reference: Without the ball: stick moves, A jumps and A again double-jumps, B grabs nearby balls, holding B locates the ball. With the ball: tap A to lob, hold A plus stick then release to slap; hold B plus stick then release to throw; R changes form; Z releases/cancels; L climbs onto the ball. Normal reverses direction controls while riding.

Glover — About this game

Unfinished Beta build (US).

Original-game reference: Glover pairs a nimble glove with a ball that must reach the end of each world and return to the castle. The ball is one of the kingdom’s enchanted crystals, transformed to survive its fall, and changing its form helps you solve obstacles. A rubber ball bounces, while the heavy bowling form can stun certain enemies and break walls when slapped. Throwing, dribbling and riding all serve different routes, so progress depends on keeping both Glover and the ball safe. Garibs, switches and checkpoints give each stage more to explore. Easy and Normal also handle ball riding differently: direction controls are reversed while standing on the ball in Normal.
