How to Play Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku
Quick start
Press START at the title and choose 物語 with A. Select 新しく, an empty file, a character and the controller, then enter a player name and confirm OK. Begin the opening stage and read its objective. Use A when prompted to roll, choose your route and inspect the talismans before spending money on a summon.
Controls
Stick or D-pad moves the cursor and selects. A confirms and rolls the die; B cancels or returns. START opens the in-game menu. On the board, C up/down changes zoom through five levels, C right changes the monster information shown and C left changes the status icons. Battle cards are chosen with directions and A; follow the stage's card prompts.
Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku — About this game
Goemon's adventure becomes a board-and-card contest. Dice determine how far you travel, while talisman cards summon monsters onto land, strengthen a fight or produce special effects. A deck contains fifty cards, with a limited hand replenished each turn, so preparation and card costs matter alongside the roll. Passing checkpoints and inns brings money, while summoned creatures hold territory in your colour and confront opponents. Day and night can change a monster's abilities. Story stages lead through the adventure and its bosses; victory depends on wearing down the opposing players' health, making placement and resource management part of every journey.
