How to Play Goemon's Great Adventure
Quick start
Choose Start and 1P or 2P, select a journal if prompted, then choose Goemon or Ebisumaru. Enter the first available road stage and practise jumps and normal attacks before spending coins on subweapons. In town, talk to residents and look for missions that award passes.
Controls
Roads/castles: stick moves; A jumps; B attacks; Z uses a subweapon; R performs the character’s special action; START pauses. Goemon can press A again in the air for a double jump. In towns, A talks/confirms and B talks/cancels. Giant-robot battles use their own commands.
Goemon's Great Adventure — About this game
Side-scrolling roads and trap-filled castles form the action stages, while towns offer shops, conversations and requests from residents. Clearing roads and completing town missions earns the passes needed at area gates. Goemon and Ebisumaru are available first; later companions bring different attacks and special abilities. Some stages change between day and night, bringing more dangerous ghosts after dark. Two players can cooperate, including riding piggyback, and giant Impact battles add a separate control mode. Choosing a useful character and spending coins carefully both matter on the journey.
