How to Play Hot Wheels Turbo Racing
Quick start
On the main menu set MODE to PRACTICE, choose an available CAR and TRACK, then highlight RACE! and press A, or press START. Learn a jump and its landing before adding spins or turbo. Use PRACTICE AIRTIME to concentrate on tricks, or EXHIBITION RACE when ready for opponents.
Controls
Standard layout: stick steers, A accelerates, B brakes; hold B to reverse. R is the handbrake, Z uses turbo. In the air, stick up/down flips and left/right spins; R plus stick left/right makes barrel rolls. C down changes view, START pauses. Options lets you change controls.

Landing cleanly matters when choosing how ambitious to make a trick. Cars have different strengths, and branching routes reward learning shortcuts and hidden areas. Exhibition offers a single race; Hot Wheels Cup adds points across several tracks and unlocks rewards for winning the series. Airtime Challenge shifts the goal to stunt scores. Practice and Practice Airtime give you room to learn the roads or experiment with tricks, with local two-player competition available in the racing and stunt modes.
