How to Play International Superstar Soccer 64
Quick start
Press START, complete the save-note selection if shown, then choose Open Game with A. Set players, teams, handicap and stadium. Review the edit screen, keep Type 1 if using these controls, and select Game Start. Try Training first if you want to practise without a full match.
Controls
Default Type 1: stick moves/dribbles; A passes, B shoots with hold time setting power. C left sends a high ball/cross, C up a through pass, C down dashes. On defense, stick+A challenges and stick+C left slides. START pauses. Types 2 and 3 use different button mappings; check Edit Controller before switching.

International Cup and World League also allow cooperation on the same team; the latter stretches across seventy matches with thirty-six teams. Scenarios set particular conditions and require a win, while solo Training isolates the basic skills. Learn to move the ball before committing to a long dash or a risky sliding challenge.
