How to Play Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000

Quick start

Choose RACE from the main menu and set up a single race. Select the number of players, a track and a bike, confirming choices with A. Start by learning the corners and landing angles before entering a series. In menus, directions select or change options, A confirms and B returns.

Controls

Default controls: D-pad left/right turns, up leans forward and down leans back; in the air, up/down changes pitch. A accelerates, B applies the rear brake and C-down the front brake. Hold L or Z for the clutch; with manual transmission, tap while accelerating to shift up or without throttle to shift down. Hold R with other inputs for airborne stunts. C-right changes the view.

Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 — About this game

Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 makes body position part of riding. Lean forward or back to change wheel loading on the ground, then adjust the bike's angle in the air to avoid a rough landing that costs speed. Separate front and rear brakes give you different ways to tackle corners: strong braking or a sliding turn. Single races help you learn a track, while indoor, outdoor, combined and custom series turn results into a points contest. Time trials and freestyle add other goals, and the track editor lets you create courses of your own. Choosing a bike and learning its response is central to a clean run.
