How to Play Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū 6
Quick start
Press START, choose 対戦 and ひとりで with A, then set teams, stadium and lineup. In options choose Aタイプ and 3Dスティック操作; automatic fielding or running can help while learning. Move the cursor to the pitch and press A to swing. Start Success with サクセス, or choose ペナント for the normal or dramatic season.
Controls
A type with stick: aim the batting cursor, A swings, hold C-down to bunt, R switches normal/power hitting. Pitching: stick chooses type, A starts the motion, then stick aims the catcher mitt. Fielding: stick moves; with the ball C-right throws first, C-up second, C-left third, C-down home. Running: C-up advances all, C-right returns all. START pauses; menu A confirms/B returns.

Success moves to university baseball, with four years to develop a player and earn a draft selection. You begin at Powerful University and unlock more universities by meeting conditions, giving different schedules and training choices. Practice earns experience; rest, outings and conversations help manage physical condition and motivation. Manual growth lets you allocate points to abilities. Beyond individual development, Dramatic Pennant begins with spring camp and lets training change the squad's skills, while Normal Pennant follows the regular race. On the field, align the contact cursor and time swings, then vary pitch type and location to work through the opposing order.
