How to Play Jikkyou J.League Perfect Striker
Quick start
Press START, select a save file or choose バックアップデータを使わずにゲームをはじめる, then enter プレシーズンマッチ. Choose player count, sides, clubs, handicap and stadium. Keep controller タイプ1, select 試合開始 on the edit screen and confirm the match setup with A. Complete the coin toss to reach kick-off.
Controls
Type 1: stick moves and aims; A makes a search pass, B shoots, C-up sends a through ball, C-left a lofted ball and C-down sprints. Watch the receiver cursor before passing and conserve stamina between runs. Defending, A challenges for the ball and C-left slides. START pauses. Menus use stick/D-pad to select, A to confirm and B to return.

Jikkyou J.League Perfect Striker brings Japanese club football to single matches, a home-and-away league season and knockout competition. Scenario recreates situations from the 1996 season with a result to achieve, while Training gives you space to learn the basics. In a match, the pass cursor helps identify a receiver, through balls invite runs into space and lofted deliveries offer another route forward. Sprinting spends stamina, so pace the attack instead of running continuously. Before kick-off, shape the line-up and formation; created players, transfers and formation editing extend the team-building options. Up to four local players can compete or cooperate on the same console.
