John Romero's Daikatana — About this game
Daikatana’s N64 campaign sends Hiro to confront a world altered by the power of a legendary sword. Combat shares space with finding doors, switches and routes through the environment. Jumping crosses gaps, while the action-and-jump combination lets Hiro crouch beneath low openings. Weapon choice and ammunition matter when enemies guard the next passage. The controller separates C-button movement from stick aiming, and its Normal setting uses inverted vertical look, so learning those roles is part of the opening challenge.
