Ken Griffey, Jr.'s Slugfest — About this game
Ken Griffey, Jr.'s Slugfest gives both sides of the plate ways to influence the ball. Moving the batting target while swinging changes the curve of a hit, while pitching lets you direct the ball even after release. How long you hold a pitch command affects speed and fatigue, so maximum effort is not always the best plan. Exhibition offers a single game for one or two local players. Season can span 162 games, begin at mid-season or jump into the final-month Pennant Chase. World Series narrows the contest to a best-of-seven series, and Home Run Derby shifts attention to long hits. Created players, trades and free agents add choices between games, alongside the decisions made on the field.
