How to Play Knife Edge: Nose Gunner
Quick start
Choose Type A in controller configuration and begin the first mission. Aim with the stick and use Z for the Vulcan. Practise R cursor centring and C-button evasion, then hold R and press B to browse special weapons before releasing to select.
Controls
Type A: stick controls aiming cursor; Z Vulcan; A selected special weapon; B special bomb; R centres cursor; hold R and press B to cycle special weapons; C buttons evade; START pauses and shows statistics. Other controller types use different assignments.

Knife Edge places you in charge of aiming and weapons while the experimental aircraft pilots itself. Mars’s colonies have lost contact after mysterious creatures appeared, and your squadron is sent to investigate. The Vulcan gun, selected special weapon and special bomb have separate commands. Evasion and cursor centring also matter, so the challenge is more than keeping the fire button down. Controller types assign these functions differently; learning one setup helps you respond as targets appear along the route.
