How to Play Mario Party 2
Quick start
Press START, select an adventure board on the Information Board and set human players, characters, CPU difficulty and turn count. At the first minigame explanation, read the controls and use R for practice before starting.
Controls
Control Stick: selections and map scrolling; A: confirm or hit the Dice Block; B: cancel or use an item; R: board view or minigame practice; Z: full board; C left/right: instructions; START: pause or start a minigame. Minigame buttons vary by event.

This is the Virtual Console rerelease of the Nintendo 64 game.
Mario Land turns the board-game contest into a series of themed adventures, with the cast dressing for each setting. Dice rolls, coins and Stars remain at the heart of the match, while items offer ways to alter movement or interfere with another player. Battle, item and duel minigames add different stakes to the usual end-of-round challenges. A practice option lets everyone learn a minigame before playing for real.
