How to Play Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero
Quick start
Adjust difficulty in Options, then begin the adventure. First practice moving, turning with B and attacking in the direction you face. Press Z to inspect your starting items and their descriptions. Learn new ice techniques as experience unlocks them, and watch both health and the ice meter.
Controls
Default: D-pad or stick moves; B turns, A is Action; C-left is high punch, C-down low punch, C-up high kick and C-right low kick. L blocks, R runs, Z opens Health Status and START pauses. At an elevator, hold A+C-up to go up or A+C-down to go down.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero turns the fighter’s journey into a sequence of levels with enemies, keys and usable items. Combat earns experience toward new powers, so the full ice arsenal is not available at the outset. Once unlocked, ice techniques drain a meter that gradually recovers. The Health Status screen brings together inventory, experience and move information. Turning to face an enemy and using the right item for a passage matter alongside punches and kicks.
