How to Play NBA Courtside 2: Featuring Kobe Bryant
Quick start
From the opening menu, choose Practice and select a team. Use it to learn A passes and B shots before Quick Play. Aim toward a teammate until the arrows mark the target; press A to pass. Hold B and release at the jump's peak to shoot. Use Z speed bursts sparingly, since steals and special dribbles also draw on Turbo.
Controls
Default: stick moves/aims passes. A passes; hold A to start a give-and-go, keep holding after the pass and release for the return. Hold B, release at the jump's peak to shoot. Hold Z for Turbo, tap Z for passing icons. Defense: A attempts a steal, B blocks/rebounds, C-down selects the defender nearest the ball. START pauses.

NBA Courtside 2: Featuring Kobe Bryant treats Turbo as a shared energy reserve for speed bursts, steal attempts and special dribbles. It recovers with rest; when fatigue is enabled, prolonged play reduces the maximum until a player rests on the bench. Offense also includes a give-and-go that keeps you controlling the original passer until you call for the return ball. Practice provides a loose game setting to rehearse shots and team plays, Quick Play starts a regular matchup and Arcade Play uses faster scoring with looser defense and more opportunities for dunks.
