How to Play NBA in the Zone 2

Quick start

Press START at the title, enter Mode and choose Exhibition. Select both teams and the side you control with the stick or D-pad, confirming with A. Keep the initial team settings for the first match. Pass with A, move into space and hold B, releasing near the top of the jump to shoot. Learn that rhythm before trying longer-range shots.

Controls

Normal-match defaults: stick moves; A passes and B shoots/jumps. Release B near the jump's peak. Z drives, C-left changes dribble and C-right spins. Hold R and press a teammate's indicated C-button for icon passing. On defense, A steals/intercepts and B blocks. START pauses.

NBA in the Zone 2 — About this game

NBA in the Zone 2 combines full-team basketball with a three-point shootout and player editing. In normal games, shot choice depends on court position and release timing, while icon passing helps send the ball to a chosen teammate. Dribble changes and spins offer ways to create space before a shot. Exhibition is a single matchup; Season and configurable Playoffs provide longer goals, and All-Star lets you choose the athletes on the floor. Player Edit changes a player's style and abilities or creates an original athlete for a roster.
