How to Play NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC
Quick start
Press START, choose Start Game and select your player number with left/right and A. At the main menu choose SELECT TEAM for a direct game. Pick a team with up/down and A, then choose the players; in a solo game, select both members of your pair. Begin with A passes and B shots, releasing near the jump's peak, and watch your Turbo meter.
Controls
Default: stick/D-pad moves; A passes and B shoots. Hold B to delay release, then release near the jump's peak. R or Z uses Turbo; tap Turbo twice while dribbling to spin. Defense: A steals, B blocks/rebounds, Turbo+A shoves. START pauses.

NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC puts two-player teams into fast basketball games, with attributes visible as you choose your pair. Turbo drains while used and recharges when rested, supporting bursts of speed and spin moves rather than endless rushing. Shooting can be delayed by holding the button to get past an attempted block, with release near the jump's peak giving the best chance. A twenty-four-second shot clock still limits possession. You can go straight to team selection or enter initials and a PIN to track personal statistics across games.
