How to Play NFL Blitz
Quick start
Choose Arcade Play from the main menu, enter initials and select a team. At play selection, move the D-pad to a play and confirm with A; Z shows more offensive plays and B flips one. At the line, press A or B to snap. Aim toward an open receiver and press A to pass, then save some Z turbo for the run after the catch.
Controls
Default: stick/D-pad moves. Before the snap, A or B hikes the ball. Behind the line, direction toward a receiver plus A passes; B jumps and holding Z uses turbo. On defense, A switches players and B tackles. START pauses. Menus use A to select and B to return.
NFL Blitz — About this game
NFL Blitz turns football into a fast contest of open receivers, turbo bursts and heavy contact. Its rules demand thirty yards for a first down and stop the clock between plays, while pass interference is allowed. Turbo adds speed, stronger hits and higher jumps, making its remaining supply important for both attack and defense. Arcade Play offers a direct matchup, Season Play follows a campaign toward the Super Bowl, and the Play Editor lets you choose a formation, position the quarterback and draw receiver routes to add to your playbook.
