How to Play Nushi Zuri 64
Quick start
Press START when はじめる appears. Choose a family member with the D-pad and A, enter a name and finish with 決定 or START. Read the opening story, then use B to open commands. At the water, choose 釣り, equip a rod, float, hook and bait, and practice float fishing.
Controls
D-pad or stick moves; A confirms and performs actions, B opens/closes command windows or cancels. In float fishing with the button controls, hold A to cast and release to land the rig; tap A when the float sinks to hook. In the underwater fight, reel with A while the fish rests and release during renewed struggle. After landing, A keeps the fish and B releases it. L/R turn notebook pages. START pauses only in the underwater view.

Nushi Zuri 64 sends six family members on different searches for a legendary guardian fish. Explore rivers, lakes and coastal waters, talk to villagers and build a collection of fishing records. Fish, insects and plants vary with season and time, so returning to a familiar place can reveal something new. Selling catches and collections funds tackle, food and lodging. Stamina affects casting and the fight, making meals and rest part of a successful trip. Releasing fish helps restore their population. Fishing also rewards patience: wait through a fish's strong escape, reel when the line slackens and ease off before it struggles again.
