How to Play Off Road Challenge
Quick start
Choose One Player, then JUST PLAY for a single race. Select a truck, choose automatic or manual transmission, and select a track with A to begin. Learn the corners and nitro timing before trying START CIRCUIT, where finishing fourth or better keeps you progressing.
Controls
Default controls: stick or D-pad left/right steers, A accelerates, B brakes and Z uses nitro. With manual transmission, R shifts up and C-down shifts down. C-right changes the camera. START pauses. In menus, use the D-pad to choose, A to confirm and B to return. Controls can be remapped in Options.
Off Road Challenge — About this game
Off Road Challenge turns off-road truck racing into a contest of speed, rough ground and well-timed nitro. Pick up cash and boost supplies along the track, then use earnings in the Circuit's Speed Shop to improve acceleration, shocks, tires or top speed. Some upgrades need replenishing as the races continue, so spending is part of the challenge. Circuit progression requires fourth place or better in each race; a single race offers a simpler way to learn the route. Choose automatic or manual transmission, watch the terrain, and save a burst of nitro for a useful stretch. A local two-player mode adds direct competition.
