How to Play Onegai Monsters
Quick start
Choose the single-player raising mode, pick the boy or girl and enter a name. After the opening walk and your monster's birth, talk to the family at home for some initial advice. Press A while walking to open the command menu. Inspect the monster, plan its food and advance one day to see the result before skipping longer periods.
Controls
In walking and menu screens, the stick, D-pad or C buttons move the character or cursor. A confirms, advances screens and opens the command menu while walking. B cancels, returns to a previous screen or opens the map as appropriate. START starts the game and offers a random name during naming.
Onegai Monsters — About this game
Choose a boy or girl breeder and begin caring for a newly born monster. Your early slime develops according to how you raise it, with food and elemental strengths influencing its changing form. Set up meals across a weekly schedule, check its condition and equipped moves, then send it on adventures to discover places with useful ingredients. Town shops supply basic foods, while exploring widens the choices for future growth. Calendar commands advance one day or longer stretches, returning control when something happens. The daily decisions build into a longer experiment in feeding, exploration and evolution.
