How to Play PGA European Tour
Quick start
In Options, use Golfer Setup to select 3-Click Swing. Start with a Practice Hole under Non-Tour Golf. Aim with stick or D-pad and use B to change club or shot type. Press A to start the backswing, A again at the desired power and A a third time at the club-to-ball contact marker for accuracy.
Controls
Stick/D-pad aims and chooses menu items. B changes club/shot type or returns. With 3-Click Swing selected, A starts, sets power and then sets contact timing on three presses. R applies draw, L or Z applies fade. START opens the in-game menu and pauses; in menus A confirms and B returns. Other swing methods are chosen separately in Golfer Setup.
PGA European Tour — About this game
Golfers can use three-click, two-click or directional X/Y swing methods, with shot aiming and draw or fade adjustments. Practice covers individual holes, driving, putting and the short game. Non-Tour contests include stroke play, match play and skins, with team groupings that change how scores and turns work. The tour path starts with amateur play and handicap improvement, then leads toward professional competition and qualifying. Read the predicted arc alongside weather conditions and choose a club and shot type before committing to the swing.
