How to Play Pro Mahjong Kiwame 64
Quick start
From the main menu, enter Pro mode and select Free Match. Choose three opponents with A, or press START to fill the remaining places automatically. Use the D-pad to select rule settings, A to change them and the confirmation option to finish. Once play begins, move left/right through your hand and press A to discard. Press down to open the action window when needed.
Controls
D-pad or stick moves the cursor; left/right chooses a hand tile and down opens the calls/declarations window. A, Z or L confirms and discards the selected tile. B closes a window; hold B with a direction to pan the display temporarily. START or R cycles through scores and back to play. C-left shows rules, C-right opens settings and C-down toggles the expanded view.

This mahjong game separates serious competitive play from more varied gambling-style rules and a training dojo. In Pro mode, Free Match lets you choose three opponents and adjust the table rules before the hand begins. Challenge matches add qualifying conditions and progression, followed by representative competition after clearing the required stages. During play, select a discard from your hand or open the action window for calls and declarations. Scores, rules and display settings remain available through dedicated buttons, and an expanded view changes how much of the table is shown. The emphasis is on managing your hand while keeping the opponents' discards and the match conditions in view.
