Quake — About this game
Quake sends a lone survivor through slipgates into the invader’s territory. Each map combines combat with a route to the exit, using keys, switches, lifts and teleporters to connect its spaces. Weapons, ammunition and armor are collected by walking over them, while unusual seams, lighting and sounds can reveal secrets. Swimming and jumping extend exploration, but air and environmental hazards demand care. The N64 version also provides a two-player deathmatch with selectable arenas, frag targets and time limits.
