How to Play Rakugakids
Quick start
Press START, choose Game Mode at the top left and then Story at the top left, confirming menus with A. Pick a fighter and start with B punches and A kicks. Use up to jump and repeat in the air for a double jump. Hold away from the opponent to guard, then try stronger C-button attacks.
Controls
D-pad moves; up jumps, down crouches and away guards. B/C-left/C-up are weak/medium/strong punches; A/C-down/C-right are weak/medium/strong kicks. Repeat up in the air to double jump. With a crayon available, press R with toward or away to use the corresponding magic attack. Z taunts, START pauses; menus use A to advance and Z to return.
Rakugakids — About this game
Children discover enchanted crayons whose drawings come to life, turning their creations into fighters. Punches and kicks each have three strengths, while double jumps, throws and directional guarding add options beyond trading hits. A colored meter builds toward crayon stocks, with up to three saved for magic. Choose Story for a run against the computer or VS for direct competition. Under the default round setting, two wins take the match; if time expires, the fighter with more life wins the round.
