How to Play Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Quick start
Press START at the title screen, choose a language with the stick and A, then select NEW GAME. Practise A jumps and press A again in the air to activate the helicopter; another A stops it. Follow the route, watch for cages and use B to shoot when Rayman has the power.
Controls
Stick moves; A jumps/confirms and toggles the helicopter in the air; B shoots/cancels; Z targets and, with stick, sidesteps; underwater Z dives and A rises. C buttons adjust camera; R shows health/Lum/cage information; L reads Yellow Lum knowledge; START opens the menu.

Robo-Pirates have shattered the heart of Rayman’s world and imprisoned its inhabitants. Rayman must recover his powers, free captives and seek four magic masks to awaken the world’s spirit. Explore connected worlds through the Hall of Doors, using precise jumps, climbing and the helicopter to control falls. Yellow Lums help open routes to new worlds, while breaking cages also improves Rayman’s health over time. New powers expand what you can do, including charged shots and swinging from Purple Lums. Camera control and underwater air management matter as much as fighting.
