How to Play Resident Evil 2
Quick start
Choose a new game, a difficulty and Leon or Claire. In the opening streets, look for a safe route past groups of zombies toward the police station; examine doors and items instead of spending every bullet on enemies.
Controls
Default controls: stick moves; A or Z examines, picks up and confirms; hold R and press A or Z to fire; B cancels; START opens status/inventory; C-left opens map; C-up opens options. With D-pad movement, hold B and up to run.
Resident Evil 2 — About this game
Raccoon City’s streets and police station become a survival puzzle for Leon and Claire. Exploring rooms reveals keys, documents and supplies, but limited inventory space forces decisions about what to carry. Fighting every zombie can waste ammunition needed later. The two protagonists encounter different events, and completing a first scenario opens a complementary second mission with the other character.
