How to Play Robotech: Crystal Dreams
Quick start
Project starting guide: Using controller 1, press START to open the menu, choose Play Mission and begin the first training mission. Practise steering and changing speed, cycle to a target, then fire while keeping it in view. Add weapon switching and transformations once the basic exercise feels comfortable.
Controls
Project control reference: The stick steers; D-pad up increases speed and down reduces it. Z fires, C-up cycles targets and C-left changes weapons. Hold B and press D-pad up for Fighter form or D-pad down for Battloid. Hold A and use the stick or D-pad to adjust the camera. Controller 1 START opens the pause/menu screen.
Robotech: Crystal Dreams — About this game
Project gameplay reference: Robotech: Crystal Dreams puts you in a Veritech that changes between a fighter and a walking Battloid. Its preserved N64 prototype offers a glimpse of space combat built around steering, speed control, target selection and different weapons. Begin with the training mission to learn how a moving target sits in your sights before adding transformations and camera changes. This is a short development demonstration with unfinished systems, rather than a complete campaign, so the most useful first goal is to master the flight and combat exercises.
