How to Play RR64 - Ridge Racer 64
Quick start
Choose Quick Play for an automatic-transmission novice race with a preset car. Learn where the tight turns begin before moving to Grand Prix. Practise one drift at a time and straighten the car before the next bend.
Controls
Default: stick or D-pad steers, A accelerates and B brakes. In manual transmission, R shifts up and L or Z shifts down. START pauses. To begin a throttle drift, release A before the bend, turn and accelerate again, then countersteer to realign. Other control presets are available.
RR64 - Ridge Racer 64 — About this game
Ridge Racer 64 asks you to carry speed through bends without losing the car on exit. Releasing and reapplying the throttle can start a drift, but steering back into line matters just as much. Checkpoints keep the pressure on, Grand Prix provides the main races, and Car Attack lets you win more cars. Time Attack shifts the focus to cleaner laps, while handling options offer different drift behaviour to explore.
