How to Play S.C.A.R.S.
Quick start
Press START, choose one player and select Time Attack. Pick a track and its available settings, confirm with A, then choose a car. Learn steering and jumps before entering Grand Prix. Carbon is the first cup; win cups to open further competitions. A confirms selections and START can also confirm player count.
Controls
Default: stick steers; pull down to reverse. A accelerates, B brakes, A+B is handbrake. R jumps, Z uses the weapon and C left selects one. C up changes view, C down looks behind, C right toggles headlights and START pauses. Options/Controller allows remapping.
S.C.A.R.S. — About this game
S.C.A.R.S. puts creature-inspired vehicles into a futuristic racing contest run by supercomputers. Each car combines speed, acceleration, grip and protection differently, so experimenting matters alongside learning the course. Grand Prix awards ordinary race points and bonuses for actions such as a fast lap or an undamaged finish. Qualification depends on the combined total, giving more than finishing position a role. Winning a cup opens the next, while Challenge offers a separate route to additional cars. Solo Time Attack lets you compare a run with your previous ghost. Jumping, weapons and the combined accelerator-and-brake handbrake give the races their own rhythm rather than treating every corner the same way.
