How to Play Shin Nihon Pro Wrestling Toukon Road 2 - The Next Generation
Quick start
Choose 技表 to inspect a wrestler's moves; R opens the command-symbol help there. Then select エキシビション and シングルマッチ, assign player and computer participants and choose the wrestlers. Begin with stick movement, A/B strikes and Z+A grapples. Try Learning Mode once the basic commands are comfortable.
Controls
Stick moves. A/B and combinations strike; add Z for throws or holds. C-up runs toward a distant rival or throws a nearby standing rival toward the ropes. Beside a downed opponent, Z+C-up attempts a pin. L taunts; R taunts in singles or changes target in tags/battle royals. START pauses. The move table has its own R help command.
Shin Nihon Pro Wrestling Toukon Road 2 - The Next Generation — About this game
Toukon Road 2 changes the move that comes out according to the wrestler, position and opponent's damage. Its move-table mode lets you search those situations before entering an exhibition. A and B combinations produce strikes, while adding Z switches to throws or holds. Learning Mode records the player's attack patterns through sparring and creates a computer wrestler that can be used elsewhere. Singles, tags and an eight-wrestler or eight-team tournament offer different formats, while IWGP builds a belt campaign. An automatic-reversal option gives another way to adjust the demands of defense.
