How to Play Snowboard Kids
Quick start
Choose LESSON on the intro screen with the stick and A or START, then try Training and the Shot and Item Demo. For a race, return and choose START, a character, BATTLE RACE, a course and a board. An All Around board provides a balanced first ride.
Controls
Stick turns; diagonal lower-left/right makes a sharper, slowing turn. A jumps and supports tricks; hold A with a stick direction approaching a jump, then release A in the air for a trick. B uses the held item; Z fires weapons in Battle Race and Shot Cross. Airborne C buttons perform grabs. START pauses/resumes.
Snowboard Kids — About this game
Snowboard Kids mixes downhill racing with playful interference between riders. Battle Race sends up to four players onto the slopes, where weapons and items can change positions before the finish. Tricks offer another way to earn money, and the board shop turns those earnings into equipment choices. Freestyle boards are forgiving but slow, Alpine boards trade easy handling for speed, and All Around boards offer a balanced starting point. Separate skill events test speed, shooting and tricks, while Lesson mode teaches the controls through demonstrations and practice. Success comes from choosing a board you can steer reliably and using your supplies at the right moment.
