How to Play Space Invaders
Quick start
Choose 1 Player with the D-pad and confirm with A. Set Skill Level to Normal in Options for a first game, read the episode briefing and press A to begin. Try clearing four matching aliens in a row, then use B when the energy bar is full.
Controls
Default: D-pad or stick moves the tank; A fires normal shots; B uses the earned power-up when the energy bar is full. START pauses and opens options, including Save Game. In menus, A confirms and B returns.
Space Invaders — About this game
Space Invaders on Nintendo 64 adds an energy system to the familiar battle against descending formations. Destroy four aliens of the same type consecutively to earn a special weapon; hitting another type before the fourth starts the sequence over. Different types award different attacks, so the order of targets shapes your options. Mother Ships drop further upgrades, and each episode’s briefing introduces its planet and new enemies before the next battle.
