How to Play Star Wars Episode I: Battle for Naboo
Quick start
Highlight START at the title screen and press A. Choose an empty game slot, enter a name with stick and A, then select Escape from Theed. Choose the available craft and follow the radar wedge. Practise B blasters, A thrust and Z brakes before approaching a tight turn.
Controls
Default: stick steers; B blasters, held for continuous fire; A thrust; Z brakes; hold R with stick for tight turns; C-left secondary weapon, chargeable on certain craft; C-down roll; L cycles views. D-pad up first-person, right close view, down standard view; START pause/goals. Other presets differ.

As Royal Security Forces pilot Gavyn Sykes, defend Naboo’s people against Trade Federation forces. Missions use different craft, each with its own handling and weapons. Follow the radar’s objective wedge and review the goals from the pause screen, keeping friendly units safe as you attack. Completing missions opens the next stages, while returning to earlier ones lets you improve medals or try later-unlocked craft. Time, accuracy, enemies destroyed and friendly survivors all contribute to the result. Hidden technology upgrades help your weapons without being required to finish the adventure.
