How to Play Tamagotchi 64: Minna de Tamagotchi World
Quick start
Press START and set the number of human players, controller style and computer opponents. Pick an egg, enter a name and finish the turn-order and rule setup. Choose the option that explains the game before starting. On your turn select さいころ, confirm with A, choose a direction at any junction and then take one care action.
Controls
D-pad or stick selects commands, scrolls the map and chooses the token's direction at branches. A confirms; B cancels. START starts the game and can choose a random name during setup. When the R help icon appears, R opens the explanation mode. The turn menu offers the die, data, map and cards; care is limited to one chosen action after moving.

This N64 Tamagotchi game mixes a board-game race with pet care. Roll a die, move across the spaces and choose a direction at junctions, then deal with events, cards and minigames that help collect transformation power. There is no fixed finishing square: the aim is to grow your Tamagotchi into an adult. After moving, choose one care action such as feeding, cleaning, treatment, discipline or play. Hunger, mood and discipline shape development, so collecting power alone is not the whole routine. Human and computer-controlled participants take turns, making the care decisions part of the board contest.
