How to Play Tetris 64
Quick start
Use the D-pad and A to choose Tetris, then A-Type with a low starting level. Place pieces to make complete rows and keep the stack low. Learn both rotation directions before holding down to speed a piece's descent. Start with ordinary Tetris to learn the board before the special modes.
Controls
Default rotation: A turns clockwise, B counterclockwise. D-pad left/right moves the piece; down speeds its fall. START pauses. Menus use the D-pad and A to confirm, B to return; L/R changes option pages. The stick and Z are unused. Options can reverse the rotation buttons.
Tetris 64 — About this game
Tetris 64 offers several ways to shape the same falling-block challenge. In ordinary Tetris, fit pieces together without leaving covered gaps and complete horizontal lines to make room. A-Type continues as an endurance game, while B-Type asks you to clear a target with a chosen starting height. Giga Tetris mixes larger pieces into the task, forcing you to plan for more than the familiar small shapes. Bio Tetris is a separate mode designed around Bio Sensor input. Adjustable rotation settings also change how the A and B buttons behave, so the current setup matters when learning a move.
