How to Play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
Quick start
Choose New Campaign, read Briefing and Intel, then review Roster, Kit, Team and Planning. Set routes before selecting Execute. For a simpler first attempt, Quick Start supplies a ready team and equipment; practice C-button movement and stick aiming.
Controls
Configuration 1, action phase: C moves/strafe; stick looks/aims; Z fires; R runs while moving; A sniper view; B changes weapons; L reloads; directional right operates doors and devices; START opens team commands, then the options menu.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six — About this game
Rainbow Six divides missions into preparation and execution. Read the briefing, choose operatives by their skills, assign equipment and plot routes with waypoints and Go Codes to coordinate teams. In the field, you lead one operative in first person while the others follow their orders. Movement widens the aiming reticle and reduces accuracy, so rushing through a doorway can undermine the plan. Protect hostages and remember that agents killed during a completed mission remain unavailable if you continue the campaign.
