Tonic Trouble — About this game

Ed accidentally drops a mysterious can of Tonic onto Earth, mutating its landscapes and creatures and empowering a would-be ruler. Sent back to recover it, he must navigate strange worlds, fight hostile vegetables and help the Doc build devices. Objects requested by the Doc unlock abilities that change how Ed explores, so revisiting earlier areas can reveal previously unreachable pickups. Thermometers expand the life bar in sets of ten. Walking, jumping and staff attacks form the basics, while later modes add tools such as a blowpipe and bow-tie flight.
