How to Play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Quick start
Choose Free Skate with D-pad left/right and A, select a skater and start in the available Hangar. Hold C down and release for an ollie. Try up-down after landing to enter a manual and keep balance with up/down. Career later turns completed goals and cash into upgrades and new spots.
Controls
Default: direction or stick steers; down brakes. Hold C down and release to ollie; C left+direction flips, C right+direction grabs. C up near a rail grinds, balanced left/right. Up-down enters a manual; down-up a nose manual, balanced up/down. L/R rotate in the air, Z changes camera zoom, START pauses. Tricks can be customized.

Create Skater builds a personal rider, while the park editor arranges ramps, rails and other pieces into custom terrain. Practice a short, reliable combo before adding more moves, because a controlled landing matters as much as a large multiplier.
