How to Play Die Hard 64
Quick start
Project starting guide: Begin with an available playable map and take a moment to learn movement and aiming. Try firing and interacting with a nearby switch or ladder before moving deeper into the area. Use cover, crouching and crawling when approaching corners.
Controls
Project control reference: Move and aim before firing; use close attacks when an enemy is nearby. The prototype's actions include jumping, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders and operating buttons. Lean around corners to look out from cover, and switch between the available firearms as the situation changes.
Die Hard 64 — About this game
Project gameplay reference: Die Hard 64 is a cancelled N64 first-person action game preserved in several development packages. Its playable material mixes firearms and close combat with ladders, switches and movement such as crouching, crawling and leaning around corners. Look through an area before advancing: a doorway, a low passage or a climb can matter as much as a direct shot. The preserved maps are only partly playable and include unfinished spaces, so this prototype is best approached as a collection of combat and exploration experiments rather than a complete story campaign.
