Quick start
Begin with progress from the original Doshin available. In the exhibition, approach a signboard and aim chikko at it by pressing and releasing Z. Read the pavilion's requirement and its host's task; progress depends on fulfilling that task in the original game.
Controls
Z releases chikko after being pressed and released. Press it repeatedly, then keep it held to sustain a stream; the stick controls the firing direction. Watch the chikko meter: firing uses it up and it replenishes over time. Aim at signs or people to trigger their responses. These are the companion's exhibition actions, not the giant's controls.

This companion to Doshin the Giant turns the island simulation into an unusual exhibition visit. Signboards lead to pavilions whose availability depends on monuments in the first game. Their hosts set tasks to carry out back in Doshin, and satisfying them earns access to portions of a seven-part film. In the exhibition, heart-shaped chikko energy is aimed at signs and people, with a meter controlling the supply. The original design relies on linked Doshin data and disk exchanges; it is not a separate island-building adventure.
