How to Play Mini Racers
Quick start
Choose a single-player race and a car, then begin on an available track. First learn the steering and braking through a lap; try Z turbo on a clear section after you know the next corner. Explore the editor or generated tracks after becoming comfortable with the basic driving.
Controls
Z activates turbo. Practise steering, acceleration and braking on a familiar circuit, then use turbo on a clear section. Choose between racing, the track editor and generated tracks in the available menus.
Mini Racers — About this game
Miniature remote-control-style cars give this unreleased racing project its scale. Driving combines small-car cornering with a Z-button turbo, while the project’s track editor and random track generation offer alternatives to repeatedly learning one route. Single-player and multiplayer racing are part of the project. The later Mini Racers prototype follows an earlier Tamiya Racing 64 concept, but expands the idea beyond that early single-circuit demonstration. Begin with the driving before experimenting with new layouts, where unfamiliar bends make timing the turbo a different challenge.
